Alice Michele Rednour, 43, of Paducah, passed away at her home at 3 a.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013.
"Missy" was born in Jackson, Tenn., on July 29, 1969. As a young girl she moved to the area and has called Paducah her home ever since. A graduate of Lone Oak High School, she enjoyed playing bingo, mowing the lawn with her push mower and watching her daughter play women's softball.
Her family believes that Proverbs 31: 10-28 best personifies Missy's life. "She is worth far more than rubies. She gets up while it is still dark; she provides food for her family. She sets about work vigorously; her arms are strong for the task. She is clothed with strength and dignity; she speaks with wisdom and faithful instruction. She watches over her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed."
She is survived by her husband, Jason Scott Rednour of Paducah; her parents, William Ray and Shirley Fay Rook Rutherford of Boaz; her children, April and Rusty Rednour of Paducah; two sisters, Tina Lambert and husband Phil of Symsonia and Lacey Forrester of Boaz; her stepsister, Sissy Stringer and husband Michael of Paducah; her brother, Michael "Turkey" King and wife Leslie of Paducah; her stepbrother, Alan Rutherford of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son.
Funeral services for Mrs. Rednour will be held Monday, March 11, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Rev. Larry Smith will officiate. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 10, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
