Alma Sue Wilson, 82, of Paducah, passed away at 7:30 P.M. Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
Sue was born in Blandville, Kentucky on March 4, 1936 to William and Iva Hagood. She was a member of Bellview Baptist Church and Sharpe Homemakers.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by her daughter, Darla McKendree, of Paducah; her son David Wilson, of Marshall County; her granddaughters, Julia Mitchell (Wesley), Holly Johnson (Chris), all of Paducah; hergreat-grandson, Ayden Mitchell.
Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, James M. “Jimmy” Wilson; her son, James Dale Wilson; her parents, William Earl Hagood and Iva Arington Hagood; her sister, Evelyn Gains; her brothers, William Barnett Hagood, George Hagood.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Brother Daniel Fraser and Pastor Mike Nolen officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the Lone Oak Chapel.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
