Artis "Jack" Hall, 78, died Friday, February, 15, 2013, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
A native of Ormond Beach, Florida, he attended and graduated from Campbell Street High School, Bethune-Cookman College and Florida Atlantic University becoming certified in Administration and Supervision.
He was a member of First Baptist Church Piney Grove, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Bethune Cookman University National and Broward Alumni Association, NAACP Life Member, Ebony Golf Association and National Black Golf Hall of Fame.
He was preceded in death by his son, Anton Gregory Hall; and eight siblings. His parents were Isaac and Mollie Hall.
He leaves to embrace his memory his wife, Jacqueline Hall; one daughter, Ardis, and one son, Kenneth Perry; one grandson; one great granddaughter; two sisters; and his father-in-law, Harold T. Alston of Paducah.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at Washington Street Baptist Church with Rev. Raynarldo Henderson officiating.
Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Special visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the memorial hour.
