Barbara Jean Rutherford, 73, of Paducah died at 6:15 a.m. Sunday at Lourdes hospital.
She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, a painter for Roman Ceramics in Mayfield and a private sitter.
Mrs. Rutherford is survived by a son, Randy Rutherford of Paducah; two daughters, Patty Ann Willis and Nancy Marie Forrester, both of Paducah; two sisters, Joann Taylor of Paducah and Glenda Mize of Atlanta; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Ray Rutherford; a son, Ricky Rutherford; two brothers; and five sisters.
A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Catholic Church with the Rev. Tom Buckman officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
