Betty Jane Browning, 73, of Paducah, died at 4:29 p.m. Friday at her home.
She was a homemaker, a member of Salt & Light Community Church of Paducah, and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3135 Auxiliary of Paducah.
Ms. Browning was survived by one daughter, Sheila Knoth Ryan and husband Mike of Paducah; four sons, Hoyt Knoth and wife Connie of West Paducah, Nathan Knoth of Paducah, Arleigh Knoth and wife Rose of Gilbertsville, and David Hughes and wife Tabitha of West Paducah; three brothers, Freddie D. Browning, Paul D. Browning, and Steve A. Browning, all of Paducah; five sisters, Bonnie Colley of Paducah, Barbara Fox of Mortons Gap, Brenda Burnette of Paducah, Marilyn Housman of Ledbetter, Claudette Trimble of Paducah; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Billy R. Browning; one sister, Mary E. Browning; and her parents, William Travis Browning and Mary T. Walker Browning.
Funeral service will be held at Noon Monday, January 7, 2013, at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with Bro. Jeff Russell officiating.
Burial will follow service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens of Paducah.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, January 6th, 2013, at the funeral home.
