Betty Rodgers Hicks, 79, of Paducah, passed away at 1:50 p.m. Monday, September 16, 2013, at her residence.
Mrs. Hicks had worked at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation in the dietary department and was a member of Southland Baptist Temple.
She is survived by her companion, Paul Rodgers; two daughters, Belinda Knight and husband Charles of Paducah and Sharon Duncan and husband Phill of Sharpe; one son, Michael Rodgers of Paducah; two brothers, James Howle and Kenneth Howle; six grandchildren, Brad Knight, Kevin Knight, Allison Duncan, Lindsey Duncan, Bethany Collins and Andrew Rodgers; eight great-grandchildren, Ava Knight, Alyssa Knight, Brayden Knight, Shelby Jones, Meredeth Jones, Cameron Collins, Gaberiel Collins and Brooklyn Collins; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Robert Howle and Ruth McManus Howle; and her husband, Bobby Hicks.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hicks will be 11 a.m. Thursday, September, 19, 2013, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Chris Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation for Mrs. Hicks will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, September, 18, 2013, at the funeral home.
