Funeral services for Betty Fay Long, 72, of Paducah will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Revs. Harold Council, Charles Sexton, Clark Sexton and Bernis Travis will officiate. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Betty passed away Wednesday at Western Baptist Hospital.
She was born May 1, 1937, to the late Crossland and Florina Hardin. Betty was a 50-year member of Southland Baptist Temple.
Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Judge Long Jr.; a daughter, Vickie (Mark) Martin of Reidland; a son, Doug Long of Paducah; four grandsons, Aaron (Kari) Long of Lexington, Adam (Lindsey) Martin of Paducah, Alex (Shara) Martin of Paducah, and Laken Long of Paducah; five great-grandchildren, Chase and Ashton Long of Lexington, and Kaylee, Nova and Addilyn Martin of Paducah; three brothers, Ralph Hardin of Burna, Ky., twin brother Bob Hardin of Flint, Mich., and Wallace Hardin of Zephyrhills, Fla.; three sisters, Francis Ramage of Fort Mills, S.C., Agnes Travis of Belleville, Mich., and Glidal Sexton of Livonia, Mich.; a sister-in-law, Sandy Belt of Joy, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Crossland and Florina Hardin; a brother, Kenneth Hardin; a sister, Charlotte Holland; and a daughter-in-law, Gayle Long.
Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
