Beverly Love, 70, of Paducah, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at 11:35 p.m. at her home.
Beverly was born in Paducah on July 31, 1942, to Howard and Dorothy Hines. She worked as a draftsman and was employed for many years at the Tennessee Valley Authority Shawnee Plant. She was the owner of Love's Fabric and Quilt Shop, served two terms as president of the Stitch & Quilt Club, served as president of Stitch and Sew ladies group and coordinated the raffle quilt for the American Quilter's Society annual quilt show. She was president of the Paducah Welcome Wagon and a member of the Homemakers Club. As an avid scrap-booker and card-maker she participated in the Just Cards and the Cutting Corners groups.
She is survived by her son, James Utley of Paducah; her daughter, Holly English and husband Darrin of Paducah; four grandchildren, Jenny Sue Utley and Katherine, Lydia and Jonathan English; her sister-in-law, Lydia May, and nieces, Audrey and Olivia May.
She was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-five years, Robert G. Love; her parents, Howard and Dorothy Breidenback Hines; her brothers, David Keith May and James Howard Hines
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, June 21, 2013, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 22, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Rev. Nathan Joyce will officiate.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to: Heart To Heart (CCA), 110 Lebanon Church Rd., Paducah, KY 42003 - a program for special needs children.
