HICKORY, Ky. - Chanston L. Willhelm age 16 of Hickory Passed away Saturday July 28, 2007 from injuries he received from an auto accident on Saturday evening.
Chanston's Friends and family all remember him as the Blue Race Car driver #22 C with the Smiley Face on the back. He also worked as a landscaper, and was a student at the Graves County High School where he played football and was involved in F.F.A. He attended the Trace Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving are his Parents Allen L. and Jackie Henley Willhelm of Hickory, two Brothers Shawn Willhelm of Abilene, TX and Clayton Willhelm of Hickory, Ky. Grandparents J.D. and Cynthia Henley of Stratford TX and Carolyn Henley of Paducah and Great grandmother Martha Henley of Metropolis, Il. Two Aunts Tameria and Eric Patton of St. Louis and Robin Smith of Paducah, one Uncle David and Beverly Willhelm of Marshall Co. Several Cousins.
Preceded in death by Grandparents Thomas and JoAnn Willhelm.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Keeling Family Funeral Home 2410 Jackson Street Paducah with the Rev. Doug Kineman Officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Funeral Home From 5:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. Tuesday.
Chanston's Family has requested that a Special Prayer be said for Robert and Aaron Willis at this time. They are in Vanderbilt Hospital.
