Clyde L. McDonald, 89, of Paducah died at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Medco Center of Paducah.
Mr. McDonald was a retired truck driver and a World War II Army veteran with three Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart. He was a member of the American Legion.
Surviving are one son, Louis McDonald of Paducah; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Trixie Downey McDonald; his parents, Arthur and Ethel Jackson McDonald; three brothers; and three sisters.
Graveside services with military honors will be at 1 p.m. today at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, with Harold Craven officiating.
