Graveside services for Dana Frances Vaughn, age 81, of Paducah will be at 1 p.m. Friday, October 8, 2010, at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Skip Parsons will officiate. All friends of the family are welcome to attend.
Mrs. Vaughn passed away peacefully at 10:35 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at Lourdes hospital.
She will be remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Mrs. Vaughn is survived by her husband of 53 years, Roy Vaughn Jr. They were married on June 14, 1957. She is also survived by her daughter, Cyndi Vaughn Keeling of Sarasota, Florida; and her son, Troy Vaughn and his wife, Jennifer, of Lakeville, Minnesota; and her granddaughter, Kristen Michelle Vaughn; along with several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Vaughn was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 5 brothers. Her parents were Martin Berry Habeck and Thrissie Wood Habeck.
Mrs. Vaughn retired as a school bus driver for the McCracken County School System after 23 years of service. She was also a member of the Olivet Baptist Church. Mrs. Vaughn was a wonderful cook and will be remembered for her fried peach pies.

There will be no visitation. The Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of the arrangements.
