Dave Rushing

Dave Junior Rushing, age 71, of Fancy Farm, KY died at 11:23 PM, Sunday, September 8, 2019 at his residence. Dave was a retired carpenter, was a member of The Church at Mayfield and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife – Maizie Rushing of Fancy Farm, KY; step-daughter- Nellie Irene Jones of Tyler, TX; two brothers – Gleen (Jenna) Rushing of Clinton, KY and Jessie (Debbie) Rushing of Fulton, KY; three sisters – Donna Reddick of Bardwell, KY, Sheila Leath of Fulton, KY and Freda Jackson of Mayfield, KY; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents – Chester Arthur & Kathleen Renee (Jackson) Rushing; step-daughter- Connie Dianne Clover and an infant brother.

Funeral services for Dave will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Jimmy Dale Simmons and Rev. Bon Reynolds will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mayfield Memory Gardens. Friends are invited to call after 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.

Military Graveside rites will be conducted by Mayfield American Legion Post #26.
