David T. Painter, 65, of Paducah died Friday in Paducah.
Mr. Painter was a member of Margaret Hank Memorial Cumberland Presbyterian Church, maintenance mechanic with USEC, member of American Legion Post 31 and a U.S. Air Force Vietnam veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Karen A. Davis Painter; two daughters, Tonya Painter of Lexington and Shannon Painter Thompson of Fort Worth, Texas; his mother, Dorothy Nell Hughes Painter of Paducah; four sisters, Dianna McMurtry, Donna Jo Midyett, both of Paducah, Debra Kay Sullivan of Boaz and Denise Hall of West Paducah; one brother, Douglas Wayne Painter of Paducah, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Thomas Painter.
Services will be at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Don Young officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with military honors.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
