SMITHLAND, Ky. - Funeral services for Deborah Jean "D.J" Brandstetter, 59, of Smithland, Ky., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 2010, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Council and the Rev. Topper Council officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Brandstetter passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at her home.
She was a member of Southland Baptist Temple and a homemaker.
Deborah is survived by her husband, James L. Brandstetter; one daughter, Ashley Thompson Klimaszewski and her husband, Mark, of Hendersonville, Tenn.; one son, Gary "Boo" Thompson and his wife, Sara, of Boaz, Ky.; and three stepsons, Craig Brandstetter of Springhill, Tenn., and Jay Brandstetter and Shawn Brandstetter, both of Smithland. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Hunter Thompson and Eli Thompson; three stepgrandchildren, Weston Brandstetter, Julia Brandstetter and Erica Brandstetter; and one sister, Yvonne Vied of Gilbertsville, Ky.
Deborah was preceded in death by one brother, David Crouch, and one stepgrandchild, Whitney Brandstetter. Her parents were Gene and Dorothy Augustus Crouch.
Friends may visit with the family from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. today, May 21, 2010, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
