Donald Jene Bondurant, 82, of Paducah died at 10:11 a.m. Monday, January 7, 2013, at Western Baptist Hospital.
Mr. Bondurant was a 30-year co-owner of McIntosh & Bondurant Television & Electronic Sales in Paducah.
He was a former deputy jailer and supervisor for McCracken County where he was employed for 10 years. He was a veteran of the Air Force during the Korean War and was of the Christian faith.
He is survived by his son, Daniel (Marinena) Bondurant of Paducah; two daughters, Janice (Ron) Morehead of Paducah and Shela (William) Koehler of Bloomington, Ill.; three brothers, Tommy Bondurant of Union City, Tenn., Pop Bondurant of Sharon, Tenn., and Jerry Bondurant of Union City, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Craig and Aaron Bondurant, Brandon (Brittani) and Alissa Morehead, and Kirsten Koehle; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Olene Ferrell; his parents, James M. Bondurant and Josephine Williams Junior; his brother, Richard Bondurant, and his sister, Joyce Barber.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Stan Durrett officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens of Paducah.
Visitation will be from 10:45 a.m. Thursday until service time at the funeral home.
