Dorothy Hoefs, 82, of Paducah passed away at 2:57 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2013, at her residence.

Mrs. Hoefs was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Richard; her son, Omar Eugene "Butch" Loe, and wife Malinda of Paducah; her daughter, Sandra Sanders and husband Steve of Paducah; two stepdaughters, Denise Ranshaw of Sanger, Texas, and Kimberly Bursure and husband Jerry of Martin, Tenn.; three sisters, Ouida Anderson of Paducah, Lounell Mitchell and husband Richard of Paducah, and Linda Lowery of Paducah; three grandchildren, Cassie Scott, Mandy Hill, and Zac Sanders; ten stepgrandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Elmer B. Young; and her sister, Norma Jean Young. Her parents were Delbert and Treva Lucille Manning Young.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hoefs will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Cory Aker officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation for Mrs. Hoefs will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013, at the funeral home.
