Dr. Scarlet MD

Dr. Dawn Rose, age 56, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018, at her home. Dr. Rose was a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and established her own dental office in Cadiz, where she practiced for 28 years. She was a Trigg County Weather Spotter and a former member of Cadiz Baptist Church where she served as director of both the children's choir and Discipleship Training, as well as pianist for many years. Dr. Rose was a member of First Baptist Church in Murray.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Michael Rose of Cadiz; her father, Lexie Clapp of Wingo, Kentucky; a brother, Daniel (Karen) Clapp of Columbia, Missouri; her mother-in-law, Jean Rose of Cadiz; and two sisters-in-law, Jennifer (Robin) Rutherford of Nashville, Tennessee, and Julie (Eric) Reidmiller of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna Stephens Clapp.

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz, where the family will receive friends after 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2018. Funeral services will be at Cadiz Baptist Church at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 1, 2018, with Reverend Kyle Noffsinger, Reverend Keith Inman, and Reverend Boyd Smith officiating. A visitation will also be held at the church on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Committal will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 2, 2018, at Mayfield Memory Gardens, 2895 South State Route 45, Mayfield, Kentucky.
