Essie B. McKendree, 90, of Paducah died at 2:45 a.m. Thursday at Lourdes hospital.
Mrs. McKendree was a cafeteria worker at the Easter Seals Center in Paducah and was a member of Southland Baptist Temple.
She is surviving by two sons, Bobby McKendree of Kevil and Billy McKendree of Metropolis, Ill.; four daughters, Patsy Herzog of Reidland, Betty Graves of Kevil, Kay French of West Paducah and Debbie Kelley of Kuttawa; one sister, Opal Feagin of Clermont, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kelza Marvin McKendree; one son, Tommy McKendree; one daughter, Barbara Gail McKendree; five brothers; and one sister. Her parents were Andy L. Tucker and Sarah M. Ward Tucker.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Chapel, with Harold Council officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
