MAYFIELD - Eugene Herndon, 74, of Mayfield died Thursday, October 10, 2013, at Lourdes hospital.
He retired from Loyd Evans Masonry and was of the Church of Christ faith.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Barley Herndon; one son, John Herndon of Flatwoods; one granddaughter; and two sisters, Daphene Mowery of Murray and Joetta Driver of Effingham, Ill.
His parents were Wilson and Floy Turner Herndon.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 12, 2013, at Mayfield Memory Gardens with the Rev. Keith Allred officiating. Visitation will be from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2013 and 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday at Byrn Funeral Home.
