PRYORSBURG - Faye Reid, 72, of the Pryorsburg community died at 9:35 a.m. Friday at her home.
She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church, and a retired school bus driver.
Mrs. Reid is survived by her husband, David Reid; one daughter, Cindy Burkett Slayman of Bardwell; one son, Gordon Burkett of Jeffersonville, Ind.; one stepdaughter, Debbie Reid-Krahn of Canada; two stepsons, Scott Reid of Murray and Dewayne Reid of Bowling Green; one sister, Patricia LaFave of Paducah; one brother, Tommy Burgess of Paducah; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Myrtle Wilson Burgess; 5 brothers; 4 sisters.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with the Revs. Glen Stewart and Mickey Fowler officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mayfield Memory Gardens Mausoleums.
