Grace Flint

Grace Adams Flint, 98, of Paducah passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2008, at 8:55 p.m. at the Medco Center of Paducah.
Born in Melber, Kentucky, Mrs. Flint loved her church and her family. She was a charter member of the Melber Church of Christ and was the church's oldest member. Mrs. Flint taught Sunday School for many years at her church. She graduated from Murray State College and devoted her life to teaching, seventeen years of which were spent in the Graves County School System.
Mrs. Flint is survived by one daughter, Linda Asbell and husband John of Paducah; three sisters-in-law, Helen Adams of Melber, Lorene Nicholson of Lowes, and JoAnn Flint of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one brother-in-law, C.V. Thompson of Franklin, Tenn. Mrs. Flint is also survived by two grandchildren, Kent Green of Hardinsburg, Ky., and Megan Green of Chicago, Illinois; and three stepgrandchildren, Sean Asbell, Adrienne Asbell, and Aaron Asbell. She is also survived by three stepgreat-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Flint was preceded in death by her husband, William Earl Flint; five sisters; and two brothers. Her parents were James Robert and Augusta Victoria Hays Adams.
Funeral services for Mrs. Flint will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 8, 2008, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with David Phillips officiating, and Robbie Adams will lead the congregational singing. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2008, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
