Mrs. Hattie Jackson, age 92, of Mayfield, passed away at 10:10 a.m. Saturday, December 7, 2013, at the Green Acres Healthcare Facility in Mayfield.
She was a member of Northside Baptist Church and a retired seamstress from the former Merit Clothing Co.
She is survived by two sons, Bro. Charles "C.W." and wife Brenda Jackson, Mayfield, and Larry Jackson, Cookeville, Tenn.; two daughters: Charlotte and husband Billy Dublin, Mayfield, Martha and husband Dan Lugo, Stafford, Texas; one brother, Paul and wife Josephine McFadden, New Hartford, N.Y.; one sister, Lucille Cook, Detroit, Mich.; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren and sixteen great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Coley "Shorty" Jackson; parents, Luther and Vera Timmons McFadden Sr.; two daughters, Peggy Clapp and Nancy Isbell; six brothers, Frank McFadden, Luther McFadden Jr., Noble McFadden, Ralph McFadden, Ray McFadden and Ward McFadden; two sisters, Violet Turnbow and Mary Smith; and one great-grandchild, Casey Skaggs.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with Bro. Charles "C.W." Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mayfield Memory Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Tom Parker and grandsons William Jackson, Charles Allen Cook, Joel Skaggs, Matt McKenzie and Jeff Robinson.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield.
