Helen Grooms

Mrs. Helen M. Grooms, age 85, of Mayfield passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at her residence.

She was a member of Trace Creek Baptist Church and a retired employee of the Merit Clothing Company for 32 years.

Mrs. Grooms is survived by her husband of 69 years, Eulis Grooms; one son, Randy (Iona) Grooms of Paducah, KY; one daughter, Charlotte (Tommy) Cruse of Melber, KY; one sister, Faye Watkins of Carey, OH; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Daisy Smith and two brothers, Calvin Smith and Leonard Smith.

Funeral services for Mrs. Helen M. Grooms will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Ronnie Stinson, Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow at Mayfield Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the funeral home.
