Helen “Betty” Vail, age 93 , of Kevil, KY passed away at 10:55 a.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Baptist Health Paducah. Betty was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church and a homemaker. Betty enjoyed traveling, working crossword, word search and jig saw puzzles. Betty was a 4-H Leader for many years and was a native of Alton, IL.
Survivors include one daughter, Cheryl Rambo, Boaz, KY; three sons, James (Barb) Vail, Elizabethtown, KY, Raymond (Nancy) Vail, Sullivan, Illinois and Richard (Robin) Vail, Burlington, WI; one sister, Jane Hill, Twisp, WA; 11 grandchildren, Deanna Miller, Melissa Kilgore, Teresa Hall, James Vail, Julie Dowell, Jason Vail, Kevin Vail, Matt Vail, Sunny Debelak, Rita Davis, and Katherine Luckett; 17 great-grandchildren, Ethan Reynolds, Brady Miller, Dayton Kilgore, Kenna Kilgore, Melanie Hall, Derek Hall, Jacob Vail, Addison Vail, Dante Deiner, Athena Dowell, Lucas Vail, David Vail, Nathan Vail, Pepper Debelak, Atlas Debelak, Nora Davis, and Ian Davis.
Preceding in death was husband, Charles David Vail; parents, Ray Ready & Martha Elizabeth Hill Ready; one brother, Harold Ready; son-in-law, Kenneth Rambo, grand son-in-law, Jesse Kilgore; two grandchildren, Sarah Vail and Tanner McQuiston.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bill Miller officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, November 4, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
