James Richard Lynn Jr., 84, of Paducah died at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday at his home.
Mr. Lynn was a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church. He was retired from SKW in Calvert City. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a Kentucky Colonel.
He is survived by six daughters, Robin McKenty and Christi Lynn, both of Benton, Shari Noles and Bambi Fox, both of Paducah, Kym Lyles of Ledbetter, and Miki Lynn of Nacogdoches, Texas; three sons, Richard Lynn of Tolu, Sean Lynn of Grahamville, and Kelley Lynn of Paducah; two brothers, Ray Harold Lynn and Jerry Wayne Lynn, both of Paducah; 26 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
His parents were James R. Lynn Sr. and Mamie Grace Milton Lynn.
Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Lebanon United Methodist Church with the Rev. Fred French officiating. Private graveside memorial services will be held later.
Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
