WATER VALLEY - Karl David "Wildman" Dickerson, 62, of Water Valley died Thursday, July 4, 2013, in Hickman County.
He retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Union City, Tenn., as a tire builder. He was a Mason.
He is survived by two sons, Joe Dickerson of Water Valley and Jim Dickerson of Paris, Tenn.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Susan Brooks of Memphis, Tenn., and Phyllis Ray of Mayfield, and one brother, Weaver Dickerson of Lone Oak.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elsie Maria (Berger) and Wilbur Edward Dickerson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2013, at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
