Lala Mae Smith, 75, of Paducah died at 7:55 p.m. Monday at Southgate Health Care Center in Metropolis, Ill.
Mrs. Smith was a retired unemployment supervisor in Kentucky and a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Buddy J. Smith; two daughters, Lyne Dickey of Paducah and Sheri Davis of West Paducah; one sister, Doris Nell Cunningham of Symsonia; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother. Her parents were Hollie B. and Lala McReynolds Emery.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with the Revs. Mike Barnes, David Brasher and Louis Brinker officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Baptist Children's Home in care of Oaklawn Baptist Church, 500 Oaks Rd., Paducah, KY 42003.
