Lenora S. Cooke, 85, of Paducah passed away Sunday, July 19, 2009, at 3:25 a.m. at Lourdes hospital in Paducah.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Curtis Harrell officiating.
Lenora was a homemaker and a member of East Baptist Church for over 20 years.
She is survived by two sons, Bill Cooke and wife Sue of Paducah and Joe Cooke and wife Clara of Springfield, Ill.; four grandchildren, Greg Cooke and wife Kendra of Smyrna, Tenn., Krista Stutler and husband Matt of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., Christine Cooke of Paducah and Brian Arant and wife Jennifer of Johnstown, Colo.; three great-grandchildren, Kory Cooke, Brett Ross and Dillon Arant; one sister, Myra McWilliams; and two brothers, Carl Shelton and Charles Shelton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Cooke; her parents, Henry Raymond and Elsie Manning (Shelton) Cooke; one brother; and one sister.
There will be no visitation. Everyone is asked to go directly to the cemetery. Roth Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in the form of donations to East Baptist Church, 2985 Old Husbands Rd., Paducah, KY 42003.
