Louis C. Kolb Sr., 86, of Paducah, passed away at 11:20 p.m. on Friday, September 2, 2011, at his residence.
Mr. Kolb was a member of United Church of Paducah, retired co-owner of Kolb Bros. Wholesale Drug Company, and a U.S. Navy WWII Veteran.
Mr. Kolb is survived by a son, L.C. 'Bubba' Kolb Jr. and wife, Susan of Paducah; two daughters, Mary Lee Hart and husband, Bob of Paducah, Kathy Golden and husband, Jimmie of Paducah; six grandchildren, R. Dallam Hart III and wife, Debbie of Asheville, N.C., Lou Kolb III and wife, Tara of Paducah, J.T. Golden and wife, Sarah of Ft. Wright, Ky., Kelly Kolb Withrow of Cincinnati, Ohio, Angie Hart Brown and husband, Peter of Brentwood, Tenn., and Krissie Golden of Lexington, Ky., eight great-grandchildren; and companion, Ann Fendley of Paducah.
He was preceded in death by a brother, F.J. Kolb Jr. His parents were Frank J. Kolb Sr. and Porter Holland Kolb.
A Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 5, 2011, at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Ron Ruggles officiating.
A private family burial will follow.
The Kolb family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the service hour of 11 a.m. on Monday, September 5, 2011, at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
