Loy Allmon, 71, of Paducah died at 9:15 a.m. Monday at Lourdes hospital.
He was a retired carpenter, a member of Oaks Church of God and a U.S. Navy veteran.
Mr. Allmon is survived by his wife, Linda Ross Allmon; four daughters, Mitzi Cary, Tammy Manea and Sterling Stacy, all of Paducah, and Teresa Sutton of Benton; two sisters, Jean Estes of Venice, Fla., and Kay Dotson of Paducah; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, Kenny Allmon. His parents were John and Estelle Speakman Allmon.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, with the Rev. Richard Dobbs officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with military rites.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
