GILBERTSVILLE - Lucille Brooks, age 89, of Gilbertsville, Ky., died Thursday, July 15, 2010, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 18, 2010, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner and Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Rex Jones and Dr. Larry Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Lucille worked at Klaussner's Hosiery for over 20 years and was a retired produce manager with Big John's. She was a charter member of Reidland Baptist Church and a current member of East Marshall Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol Aldred of Gilbertsville, Ky., and Sharon Earles and husband, Russell of Reidland, Ky.; three grandchildren, Mark Alan Earles and wife Lisa of Charlotte, N.C., Allison Chaney of Indianapolis, Ind., and Andrew Aldred and wife, Liz, of East Troy, Wis.; four great-grandchildren, Tyler Earles, Shay Chaney, and Katie and Taylor Aldred; three sisters, Lois Story of St. Charles, Mo., Francis Barnett of Granite City, Ill., and Virginia Thorning of Kuttawa, Ky.; two brothers, Norval Ramage of Peoria, Ill., and Charles Ramage and wife, Martha of Reidland, Ky.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, L.C. Brooks; her parents, Alfred Lee and Beulah Gregory Ramage; four sisters; three brothers; and one great-grandson, Zachary Aldred.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, July 17, 2010, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner and Orr Funeral Home.
