Lyda McClure

Mrs. Lyda Mae McClure, age 95 of Mayfield, passed away at 2:10 P.M. Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the Green Acres Healthcare Facility in Mayfield. She was of the Baptist Faith and a retired employee of the former Merit Clothing Company. She is survived by one daughter; Johnnie Thurston, of Mayfield, one grandson; Terry Lynn Thurston, Mayfield, one granddaughter; Melissa (Joey) Morrow, Wingo and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; Street and Vergie Haley Smith, one son; Jerry Allcock and a sister; Sammie Mayfield. Graveside services will be conducted at 12 Noon Saturday at the Mayfield Memory Gardens with Rev. Ronnie Cope officiating. Friends may call after 9:00 A.M. Saturday at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield.
