Margaret Byars

Margaret E. "Lanie" Byars, age 75, of Paducah passed away at 6:40 a.m. Sunday at Paducah Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Byars was a native of Paducah and was of the Baptist faith. She was a 1955 graduate of Augusta Tilghman High School and was a retired home decorator for Wise Furniture Store.
She leaves behind her son, Charles "Kent" Byars and wife, Debra of Paducah; one granddaughter, Kendra Burnett of Paducah; one brother, Charles "Dale" Fox of Paducah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby E. Byars, and her parents, Charles E. Fox and Margaret Deboe Fox.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Topper Council officiating. There will be no public visitation. Keeling Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
