Services for Margaret Rucker, 74, of Paducah will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29, 2008, at Lindsey Funeral Home. Dr. Kenneth Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
She died at 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, at her family home.
Mrs. Rucker was retired from the Kroger seafood department. She was a member of West Paducah Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Eagles Club, which she served as chaplain for several years. She was an avid fan of the Calloway County Lakers and the University of Kentucky Wildcats.
She is survived by one son, Joseph W. (Tina) Rucker of Kirksey; one stepson, Roy Lee Rucker of Hayfork, Calif.; one grandson, Ernest Q. Rucker of Mayfield; one granddaughter, Lindsey M. Rucker of Kirksey; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest L. Rucker; and her sister, Charlene Carroll. Her parents were Barber Carroll and Autrey Morgan.
Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
