Margaret Sue Hardesty West, 81, of Paducah went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, May 29, 2009, at 10:55 a.m. surrounded by her family and friends.
She was born in Dexter, Ky., and was retired from Lockheed Company of California. Sue was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, James "Jim" Edward West; nieces, Sylvia Mitchell of Metropolis, Ill., Linda Boudreaux of Paducah and Suzanne Johnson of Calvert City; nephew, Bill West of Murray; and several cousins.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Jim Mizell Hardesty.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2009, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jamie Broome officiating.
Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 1, 2009, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
