Mark Vandiver

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Mark Thomas Vandiver, 43, of Jacksonville, Florida, formerly of Paducah, passed away at 2:15 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2011, at his home of natural causes.
He was a member of Reidland United Methodist Church and was employed as a commercial photographer and editor for First Coast News in Jacksonville. He was formerly employed as a photojournalist at WPSD-TV in Paducah. He was a 1986 graduate of Reidland High School and attended Paducah Community College. Mark loved life and lived life to the fullest. He placed great value on his many friendships both in Jacksonville and Paducah.
He is survived by his parents, Tom and Ellen Singleton Vandiver of Paducah; one sister, Lisa Rowton and husband, Dave of Paducah; one brother, Robert "Bob" Vandiver of Paducah; four nieces, Alaina Werner, Melody Vandiver, Mandy Rowton and Maggie Rowton; and one great-niece, Lyric Werner.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. David Garrett officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and from 12 p.m. until the funeral time on Saturday.
