KEVIL - Martha C. Beck, 69, of Kevil, Ky., passed away Monday, November 29, 2010, at Medco Nursing Home in Paducah.
Funeral services for Marty will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 2, 2010, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Jerry McGill officiating. Entombment will immediately follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Marty was born October 15, 1941, to the late Wesley R. and Grace E. (Kalen) Miner.
Marty was of the Lutheran faith. She was a founding member of the Crime Stoppers Board, a former director of the Young Historians and formerly ran the Alben Barkley Museum and a founding member of Lowertown. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Gordon D. Beck Sr.; three daughters, Gabrielle Beck and husband Brent Joiner of Paducah, Amanda Martin and husband Eric of Oak Harbor, Washington, and Heather Owens and husband Brian of West Paducah; two sons, Christopher Beck and wife Anna of West Paducah and G. Dale Beck Jr. and wife Elaine of Paducah; one sister, Joyce McGill and husband Jerry of Paducah; 12 grandchildren, Anna Christine, Sarah Grace, Kalen, Devon, Gordon III, Sydney, Kortney, Cameron, Kayla, Ricky, Logan and Kainan; and three great-grandchildren, Scott, Kylie and Elijah.
In addition to her parents, Marty was preceded in death by two infant children.
Visitation for Marty will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. today, December 1, 2010, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
