Maxine Pendergrass

March 14, 1926 — July 15, 2009

Maxine Pendergrass, 83, of Paducah died at 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at Superior Care Home.
She was a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church and the PAPA Artist Group. She retired as a purchasing agent for Martin Marietta and was an avid quilter and artist.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Pendergrass; one daughter, Carol Wilkes Bell and husband Robert "Bo" Bell of Paducah; one sister, Betty Hunt of Lone Oak; three grandchildren, Chris Bell, John Bell and Caroline Bell; and three great-grandchildren, Sam Bell, Jack Bell and Carrie Bell.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leroy "Buddy" Wilkes, and one brother, Dalton Elwood Eidson. Her parents were James Dalton and Linnie Cruse Eidson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Robert Bell and the Rev. Jeff Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. today
