Michael D. Lyles, 50, of Calvert City died Monday at his residence.
Mike's love for NASCAR led him to work as a transport driver for the following NASCAR families: Johnny Benson, Jeremy Mayfield, DEI, Tony Stewart, and Hendrick Motor Sports.
He is survived by his mother, Judith Goheen, and stepfather, James L. Goheen of Calvert City; his father, Hal B. Lyles Jr. of Calvert City; three brothers, Tim Lyles of Memphis, Tenn., Bruce Lyles and wife Wendy of Calvert City, and Andy Lyles of Calvert City; two nieces, Erika and Brooke Lyles, both of Calvert City; one uncle, Keith Lyles and wife, Mary Lou of Murray; a cousin, Kelly Lyles of Murray; and several relatives of the Whitehead Family in Great Britain.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home in Benton. The Rev. Chris Moore and the Rev. Adele Ambler will officiate.
Friends may visit with the family from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at Collier Funeral Home in Benton.
