Graveside services for Nan Cooper, age 85, of Paducah will be at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2010, at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Chapel with Rev. J. Gottman officiating.
Mrs. Cooper died Monday, April 26, 2010, at 9:52 p.m. at Lourdes hospital.
A native of Paducah, Mrs. Cooper was a loving and devoted mother and homemaker. She was a member of the First Christian Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Paducah Fire Department.
She is survived by four daughters, Nancy C. Bloodworth and her husband, Hayden "Corky" Bloodworth, Jayne Sevenski, Vicki Cooper and Tina Shidal, all of Paducah. Mrs. Cooper is also survived by four grandchildren, Kristi Bloodworth, Jennifer Myre, Chris Shidal and Jon Shidal; and four great-grandchildren, Matthew Myre, Michael Myre, Cameron Myre and Carly Myre.
Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Cooper, and one grandchild, Jacquelyn Shidal.
Pallbearers will be Corky Bloodworth, Monty Riley, Chris Shidal, Michael Myrick, Thad Metzger and Jon Shidal.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the First Christian Church, 415 Audubon Drive, Paducah, KY 42001; or Lourdes Hospice, P.O. Box 7100, Paducah, KY 42002-7100.
There will be no visitation. Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
