Norma Jean Ervin, 82, of Paducah died Saturday, June 11, 2011 at her home.
Formerly of Lake Jackson, Texas, she was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and attended Gospel Mission Church. She was a clerk at Winegartens in Texas. Mrs. Ervin was born in Titusville, Pennsylvania, February 15, 1929, to the late Clarence and Jean McQueen Messner Watson.
Survivors include two nieces, Cheryl Cooper and her husband, Stephen of Newton, Kan., and Deborah Thomas and her husband, Paul of Paducah; her nephew, Larry Watson and his wife, Diana of Tulsa, Okla.; her great-niece, Rachel Cooper of Newton, Kan.; her great-nephew, Brandon Wingate and his wife, Elke of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; and her great-great-nephew, Dean Wingate of Murfreesboro, Tenn.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Waymon Ervin; and her brother, Paul Watson.
Services for Mrs. Ervin will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lone Oak Chapel of Milner and Orr Funeral Home.
