Peggy J. Morris, 78, of Paducah died Saturday morning at 9:15 a.m. at Culpepper Place.
Peggy was a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church, a 1950 graduate of Lone Oak High School and a homemaker. She loved traveling with her late husband, Dr. Bob Morris, and being with family and friends.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Dr. Dan Summerlin officiating.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 13, 2010, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
Survivors include three daughters, Janie Roussel (Steve) of Nashville, Tenn., Kim Heebink (Greg) of Whitefish Bay, Wis., Amy Holland (Jeff) of Lone Oak; eight grandchildren, Ben Roussel, Paul Roussel (Lissa), Elizabeth Heebink, Scott Heebink, John Heebink, Sydney Holland, Carter Holland and Jack Holland; three sisters, Anna Ross (Alton) and Frances McGee, both of Paducah, and Vivian Seay of Mayfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Dr. Robert "Bob" Morris; her parents, Lee and Vera Cook Galloway; six sisters, Pauline Moore, Lucille Easley, Margaret Colley Easley, Vela Galloway, Moyna Holshouser and Myra Larson; and three brothers, Robert Galloway, Raymond Galloway and L.G. Galloway.
