Randel D. Sherron, 59, of Metropolis, Ill., formerly of Paducah, died at 5:22 a.m. Friday at Western Baptist Hospital.
Mr. Sherron was assistant supervisor of assessments for Massac County, Ill. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and was of the Methodist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Hicks Sherron; his parents, Harold L. and Cora Lee Culp Sherron of Paducah; one brother, Ricky Sherron of Paducah; one nephew; one niece; and two great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. The Rev. John Smithmier will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society, 3140 Parisa Drive, Paducah, KY 42003.
