CLEAR SPRINGS, Ky. - Raymond Buel "Boots" Beane, 90, of Clear Springs died Tuesday at his home.
Mr. Beane was a retired farmer and retired from the Kentucky Highway Department. He was a member of Tenth Street Pentecostal Holiness Church, serving as a deacon for 50 years.
Surviving are his wife, Ruby Augusta Brown Beane; two sons, Billy Ray Beane of West Plains and Gary Beane of Clear Springs; two daughters, Brenda Cagle of Mayfield and Judith Ferrell of Clear Springs; two brothers, James Harold Beane of Murray and Glen Edward Beane of Mayfield; two sisters, Verlene Bowerman of Kirksey and Linda Faye Wilkerson of Farmington; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Sharon Rena Hayes; four brothers; and two sisters. His parents were Dempsey and Bessie Bazzell Beane.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield. Burial will be at Mayfield Memory Gardens.
