Raymond Edward DeBold, 97, of Paducah, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Raymond was born in Paducah on December 2, 1920 to Fred L. Sr. and Velma Finney DeBold. He served in the United States Air Force for eleven years after volunteering for duty in 1940. He served in World War II and the Korean War with a rank of Technical Sergeant. Raymond was the owner/operator of DeBold Appliance Service for many years. A friendly man, he loved people and especially children were drawn to him.
Surviving are nieces, Elaine DeBold (Steven) Hornyak, Carol Howle, Donna (Kent) Korte, Dianne Carter, Karen (Ronald) Street and Cindy (Rick) Stimson; nephews, Ronnie Wallace, Kenny Cooper and Chris Cooper; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his wife of 62 years, Edith Peyton DeBold; brother, Fred L. DeBold, Jr., and his parents.
Graveside services will be held at 1pm Wednesday, October 17, 2018 in the chapel at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bill Miller officiating.
Visitation will be held from 11:30-12:30 Wednesday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
