BOAZ, Ky. - Services for Richard Harold Beyer, 68, of Boaz will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home. The Rev. Jimmy Franks will officiate, with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Beyer died at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday at his home.
A native of Graves County, Mr. Beyer was a graduate of Draughon's Business College. He was a driver for Paschall Truck Lines and a farmer. He was a member of United Church of Paducah and Folsomdale Masonic Lodge No. 283.
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Connie Lee Beyer; one daughter, Nanci Denise Beyer Hutchison of Grand Rivers; one sister, Betty Lou Beyer Tricquet of Tallahassee, Fla.; one brother, Henry Morris Beyer of Boaz; one grandson, Zachary Edward Hutchison of Grand Rivers; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mr. Beyer was preceded in death by one son, Robert Darren Beyer; and one brother. His parents were Richard Henry Beyer and Arennia Louise Morris Beyer.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, where Masonic rites will be conducted at 7 this evening.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; Ronald McDonald House, 550 S. First St., Louisville KY 40202; or Lourdes Hospice, P.O. Box 7100, Paducah KY 42002.
