Robert Harper

Robert W. Harper, 74, of Paducah died at 8:19 p.m. Tuesday at Western Baptist Hospital. Mr. Harper was of the Methodist faith, a graduate of Lone Oak High School, a construction worker and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include four sisters, Eva Bean and Mary Buchanon, both of Paducah, Deen Orndoff of St. Louis, and Joyce Scobel of Atlanta; three brothers, George Harper of Mayfield, and Dale Harper and Herman Harper, both of Paducah; and several niees and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. His parents were George W. and Addie Susan Goodwin Harper. Private family graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Bob Martin officiating.
