A memorial service for Robert Kevin Anderson, 50, of Paducah will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church in Paducah with the Revs. Alfred Anderson and Charles W. Russell officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Anderson died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Western Baptist Hospital.
He graduated from Paducah Tilghman, attended Paducah Community College, Western Kentucky University and Murray State University, attended Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church and Daymar College, was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, worked as a sports announcer for KYOK radio station in Houston and co-hosted "Paducah Day" on WKYX-WKYQ.
Surviving are one son, Kevin Christopher of Houston; one daughter, Kimberly Rose of Houston; his father, the Rev. Robert M. Anderson of Paducah; two sisters, Karen Lamb of Houston and Roberta Strickland of Paducah; one aunt; and several uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosa Shelton Anderson.
