Services for Roger L. Plante Jr., 55, of Mayfield will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield with the Rev. Kathy Belcher officiating. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with military rites conducted.
Mr. Plante died Sunday, January 6, 2013, at his home.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and attended Spence Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mr. Plante is survived by his wife, Terri Plante; his parents, Roger and Jeanette Landry Plante Sr. of North Brookfield, Mass.; two sons, David Plante of Hinesville, Ga., and Jeff Plante of Worcester, Mass.; three sisters, Mary Para of Brookfield, Mass., Patty Sanders of South Bridge, Mass., and Karen Ovitt of Mayfield, and four grandchildren.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013, at the funeral home.
