Rubye M. Collins Jackson, 82, of Paducah died Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at 1:10 p.m. at Medco Nursing and Rehab Home.
Rubye was a lifelong resident of Paducah, member of Bellview Baptist Church, retired from K-Mart Corp., where she served as checkout supervisor.
Services will be held Saturday, October 30, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Dr. E. Lee James officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may visit with family on Saturday after 12 noon until the service time of 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Hilton D. Jackson; one daughter, Lisa K. Patmore (James), Lone Oak; two sons, Mark Alan Jackson (Tracie), Paducah, and Steven Craig Jackson Sr. (Brenda) of Bloomington, Ind.; seven grandchildren, James Lee Patmore Jr., Melissa Kay Herndon, Jacob Jackson Patmore, Sarah Emily Jackson, Jason Edward Jackson, Steven Craig Jackson Jr. (Meighan) and Lucille Caroline "Lucy" Mackey (Chris); and one great-grandchild, Kaylee Lynn Herndon, several nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death were her parents, Marvin J. and Inez Jackson Collins; five brothers, Wesley, Robert, Rolly, Kenneth and Jack Collins; one sister, Mildred Collins.
